NOAA bans shark "Attracting" at Farallones

NOAA recently issued new regulations for the Gulf of Farallones Marine Sanctuary stating that no "attracting" devices such as decoys may be used to lure Great White Sharks  close to boats so that tourist can see them. Honolulu Council Bill to Ban Shark Diving

The Honolulu City Council has introduced a bill to ban companies from offering shark diving tours. Their stated reason is that the tours are "disruptive" to the marine environment.
